Get training together!
I have created a facebook group 'GCH training together'. The idea of the group is to get more people co-ordinating their training to spend more time running together which generally help to get people running more and with better quality. If you plan to run post
Hopefully athletes will post back if they are looking to a similar run.
I will also post the weeks training plan on the page on the files section(in addition to posting on the club website). If you can't run the session at the usual club training time for some reason on a given week you can use the Facebook group to see if anyone else is in a similar situation and wishes to join you at an alternative time.
You can also let people know if you are going to the club training sessions so that it might encourage others to join you. It would be great to see the numbers increase for the Sunday morning runs and to get a group meeting to run the threshold /tempo type session on Thursdays.
Search for the group on Facebook- hopefully you will be able to find it, then invite any GCH members that you know to join the group.
Please stick to the function of the page if you can so that it can serve it's purpose rather than just becoming a more general forum as we already have one of those on the club website.
The group will be limited to GCH members for security reasons as it not great to advertise to the wider public when and where you are running if you end up running on your own!
