The full results of the National League Round 2 T&F competitions in Athlone and Santry are now up on the AAI website at: http://www.athleticsireland.ie/content/?page_id=160. Galway City Harriers will compete in the Division 1 final on Saturday 14th of August. GCH finished second on points in the qualifiers to Ferrybank with Tallaght, Sligo and Kilkenny City Harriers in hot pursuit. There were many notable performances from the GCH team in Athlone and just two to mention are Igor Muntean's return to action in the High Jump, earning maximum points for the team and Sean Breathnach's cameo in the Javelin, not one of Sean's usual events, but one which he won on the day for maximum points.

In the women's event a combined team is entered from Galway County, encompassing all the clubs of the region, and they also qualified comfortably for the Division 1 final. It's full steam ahead for the final!
