For those of you taking part in this year's Fields of Athenry 10K road-race on St. Stephen's day (26th December), GCH will organise a bus to and from the event if there are sufficient numbers interested.

The provisional plan is that the bus will leave Galway at 9.30am (approximately) from Westside Library and return from Athenry at around 3pm. This will give all participants ample time to warm-up for the race and then just as importantly, time for post-race analysis over a relaxing cup of tea (or perhaps a hot port for the day that's in it!) with fellow runners and club members.

Note - this arrangement is open to non-GCH club members as well and spectators will also be accomodated subject to demand. Please remember however that as this event is now sold-out, you can only run in the actual race if already registered.

The last GCH bus tour took us to Co. Clare last December so it's high time we had another running day out as a group!
