[acidfree:8308 align=right size=100 title=""]GCH's Paul Fallon is involved with the OTRA (On The Road Again) organisation and is making the following appeal to Galway athletes so that running and exercise continues to remain accessible to as many people in our community as possible:

If anyone out there has excess decent running gear that they are not using, could you please let me know. After a number of weeks of been spoilt by the early morning sunshine, we have had to contend with heavy rain & hail showers lately. Unfortunately we do not have the funding available currently to kit out everyone involved in OTRA in new gear.

Paul's full contact details to arrange collection/drop-off points are available on the OTRA website and linked here.

You may remember that Paul ran 1000 miles around Ireland during the cold dark month of December last so he is certainly doing his bit in promotion of this good cause!

We will be doing a colletion of any unwanted gear before tomorrows 5K in Newcastle, Athenry.
We are mostly in need of clothes, any unwanted tshirts you may have got at races, if you have any decent spare shorts or socks, and with the summer coming we could probably do with some raingear, hats, gloves etc!
