Congrats to all GCH athletes who took part in the National 10k in Athenry last Sunday. GCH had two gold medal winners in the Masters categories. Brian Geraghty and Adrienne Walsh took top honours in their categories. Also, both Martin McEvilly and Bernie Kelly won silver in their categories.

GCH had 27 club members compete on the day, contributing strongly to one of the largest ever fields to take part in the National 10k event. Athenry AC hosted a superb event which was enjoyed by all.

First home in the GCH colours was Conor Moloney in 33:40, followed by Ruaidhri Geraghty, Ian Egan and Martin McEvilly. Regina Casey led the GCH women home in 38:30, followed by Carmel Brannigan and Nicola Deacy. The full list of GCH finishers is:
