Update:

During the hectic aftermath of the race on Saturday we the finishing sheets were filed incorrectly. This led to some major discrepancies in the results posted earlier in the week. Fortunately we have been able to resolve the problem areas and the results are now confirmed. Thank you to all the runners that emailed to let us know about these problems.

Notes on the final results

A number of people will see their finish times faster or slower by several seconds. These differences arise where a runner moves ahead of other runners in the finishing chutes. In extreme cases some runners moved ahead, or dropped back, many places in the chutes after crossing the finish line. This leads to time differences FOR ALL RUNNERS IN THAT CHUTE by as much as 30 seconds. Many of these difficulties are understandable where in excess of 75 runners per minute are crossing the finish line during the peak of the race.

Other discrepancies in finish times are caused where a participant does not wear an official running number. Finally despite our best efforts there will be some, hopefully now eliminated, errors where we entered finish numbers incorrectly.
